
4th Worsley Scout Payment Policy
1. Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are due in January, April, and September of each year.

The subscription fee is £50 per child.

For younger siblings of existing members, the subscription fee is reduced to £30 per term.

Payment for subscription fees should be made promptly by the specified due date to ensure continuity of participation in Scout activities and events.
2. Investiture Fee

An investiture fee of £8 is required for new members joining the Scout group.

This fee covers the cost of essential items for the investiture ceremony, including the neckerchief and badges.

In the event of loss or damage to the neckerchief, a replacement fee of £4 will be charged.

Similarly, a replacement fee of £4 will apply for a new set of investiture badges.

Replacement fees must be paid promptly to cover the cost of replacement items.
3. Badge Fee

A badge fee of £1 per badge is applicable for each badge which is received by the young person.

Payment for badge fees should be made before badges are awarded.
4. Payment Procedures

Payments must be made into the Group Bank Account.

Any outstanding fees should be cleared as soon as possible to ensure continued participation in Scout activities.
5. Financial Assistance

Financial assistance may be available for families facing financial hardship. Please contact the Scout group leadership to discuss available options and arrangements.

Every effort will be made to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder a Scout's participation in Scout activities and events.

6. Late Payments

Persistent failure to pay subscription fees may result in the suspension or termination of membership, as outlined in the Scout Group Joining Code of Conduct and Terms & Conditions.
7. Policy Review

This payment policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains fair, transparent, and aligned with the needs of Scout group members and the Scout group's financial obligations.
